Biography: Dr. Jean M. Bradt [pronounced BROT]

Author: Dr. Jean M. Bradt (77) Ph.D. Psychology
The author, Dr. Jean M. Bradt (77) Ph.D Psychology, writes and publishes articles on current or timeless issues. She spent the first ten years of her working life as an elementary-school teacher. She returned to college for a Ph.D in psychology, which she earned at Loyola University of Chicago in 1988. She spent the next several years as a psychology professor.
She created a nonprofit, hardcopy magazine, The Any Dream Will Do Review. For ten years, she accepted and edited stories written by authors around the world. She was the sole editor of, and produced seven editions of, the review. In her spare time, she facilitated a writers’ group on a volunteer basis.
Now retired, Dr. Bradt is the administrator and author of a website, Knowledge Is Power. She is swamped with work, but each evening for bedtime she sits, relaxes, and surfs the net for the people she trust. The one she trusts the most is ex-president Barack Obama. Last October Mr. Obama told podcaster Marc Maron that the language used by some liberals is “holier than thou.” He said he tries not to be, “so righteous and so pure and so insightful that there’s not the possibility that maybe I’m wrong on this…You can’t constantly lecture people without acknowledging that you’ve got some blind spots too, and that life’s messy.”
Dr. Bradt herself is not righteous. Is she? Well, maybe she is, but she tries not to be.
Dr. Bradt is a writer, thinker, and a dreamer. She writes and publishes articles on current or timeless issues and, sometimes, short stories or poetry. And she is the thought-control whisperer.
