I am a Democrat. I speak my mind. The Republican leaders are passing laws that make climate change worse. Change to Democratic leadership-help our environment. And Trump’s 2025 NSPM-7 looks a lot like Mein Kampf.
All my life, I have disliked “politics.” To me, politics was nothing but arguing. At 18, I registered as an independent voter. I quietly decided to vote for McGovern against Nixon. Democrat? Republican? So what? I used common sense and the facts available to me and decided McGovern was the better choice. In fact, I campaigned for him door-to-door—for one day. People just wanted to argue about my common-sense approach to politics.
In May, 1988, I earned a Ph.D. in one of the humanities. I continued to decide which presidential candidate to vote for without considering their party affiliations until 2016, when I was so disappointed with the Republican candidate that I re-registered as a Democrat. (Although I will remain a Democrat indefinitely and listen to Democrats, I also listen with great care to what Republicans tell me.)
Now I am the creator of the website, Orange You Glad Trump’s Not A Forever President that will help us change to Democratic leadership and author of “The Republican Administration Is Hiding Facts.”
